Joe-E hails from the South West of the U.K and is one of the fastest growing names in the EDM scene at current times. At the tender Age of 23, he has spent almost half of his life dedicated to both Production and DJing and most of all just Music in general, this has led to numerous appearances at some of the best clubs in the country and further afeild such as Scotland, Ireland & N.Ireland and also has Tours lined up for Canada, Ibiza and more still to be confirmed, within the last few years Joe's also gained residencies at two of the south wests leading club brands "After-Dark & "Premonition". I caught up with Joe E to see how 2010 is shaping up for him with an artist album in the pipeline amongst many other projects such as running his label Virus Audio.

Hi Joe,Thanks for taking time out to do this interview for us here at HarderEdge,Tell us a bit about yourself?


No worries,Basically first off, here is my Biography as it will tell you a lot about myself!

Joe-E hails from the South West of the U.K and is one of the fastest growing names in the EDM scene at current times. At the tender Age of 23, he has spent almost half of his life dedicated to both Production and DJing and most of all just Music in general, this has led to numerous appearances at some of the best clubs in the country and further afeild such as Scotland, Ireland & N.Ireland and also has Tours lined up for Canada, Ibiza and more still to be confirmed, within the last few years Joe's also gained residencies at two of the south wests leading club brands "After-Dark & "Premonition".

Success with Production has rocketed somewhat for Joe over the last couple of years, with releases on numerous labels around the world and gaining massive DJ support from the likes of Marco V, Eddie Halliwell, Yoji, Scot Project, Mark Sherry, A*S*Y*S, Kamui, Kutski (BBC Radio 1), K90, DJ Choose, FJ Project, Ernesto vs Bastian, Fabio Stein, Nish, Remo-con, Vandall, Alex Kidd & Dr Willis to name just a few. Having tracks frequently played on numerous radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and reviews in some of the leading dance music magazines such as , DJ Mag I-DJ & Mixmag. 2007/08 has been a massive step for Joe and his career, This is an in angle which Joe has many ideas for the future and has already a huge following for his sound.

2007 also seen the launch of an exciting new project for Joe, the "Trancefuzion Collective" together with label partner Kidd Kaos, they set up a brand new label consisting of a series of sub labels aimed to bring fresh new sounds and very inteligent dance music to the scene wich is allready the favorite label of many top DJs accross the globe, the name just keeps growing and growing.

2009 is also a major step in Joe's carrier in the music industry as he sets up his very own imprint "Virus Audio" Virus Audio is label that aims to bring you the most freshest and innovative dance music in the industry. Set up in 2009 by label founder and in house producer Joe-E, with an already massive artist roster of the most quality producers in the dance scene at currently times such as Yoji / DJ Choose / Amber D / Vandall / Nish / Kidd Kaos / FJ Project / Louk / Joe-E / Will Atkinson / Mac & Taylor / Night Liberator / Stana and Killswitch to name just a few that are working with Virus Audio, This is for sure a label to be keeping an eye on!

Also 2010 sees Joe Being signed to Riot/Traffic Recordings and is also workin hard on an Artist Album for the labels. Aswell as this he has also signed stuff to the Organ Donors new label Audio Surgery and also remixed for their Under The Knife Album! Also keep an eye out for lots of new collaborations that Joe's going to be doing with artist such as Amber D / Kidd Kaos / Organ Donors / Neal Thomas / Vandall and a load more to be confirmed!

As well as all of this Joe now hosts his own monthly radio show on Slinky.FM "The Virus Sessions" wich is a 2 hour show wich showcases all the brand new anthems each month and also includes a 60 minute guest mix from some of the best DJ's from around the globe and it's also subscribable as a Podcast from iTunes.

Being quoted by YOJI and Kutski on BBC Radio 1 plus many more as one of the leaders of the new skool Tech-Dance sound, Joe is certainly one to be watching out for at the moment!

If you need to find out anything else about Joe then just listen to any of his Radio Shows/mixes/podcasts and the music will speak for itself.

You have recieved support from the likes of Marco V, Eddie Halliwell, Yoji, Scot Project, Mark Sherry, A*S*Y*S, Kamui, Kutski, What does that feel like at such a young age?

It's great to have so much support from all of these big names all the time, hopefully people will be answering questions in interviews like this about me in the near future!


As 2009 is over,What is your most memorable moment of the year?



Without a doubt Yoji quoting me as one of his favorite producers of the year!


What are you most looking forward to in 2010?


Well would have to be my new Artist Album that I've been asked to do for Riot!/Traffic and to be getting a load of more big gigs!


Any new collabs you can tell us about?


I have a few already done with Kidd Kaos,Amber D & Louk all ready for release on various labels and have already lined up some great new collabs with Amber D again, Neal Thomas, Kidd Kaos, Louk, Busho, and a load of others too!


You've recently launched you own label 'Virus Audio',Explain to our reader's your vision for the label?


Basically my aim for the label is to keep pushing fresh,new & exciting sounds into the scene!


What forthcoming release's can we look forward to on 'Virus Audio'?


We have some awesome releases lined up... I don't want to tell too much just yet but I can say that we have a great release from your main man Andy Richmond lined up!


You also have a show on Slinky.FM called The Virus Session's, What guestmixes do you ave lined up for 2010?


Yeah,

I dont want to let too much out but here's a few of the guests lined up for this year:
